A great website
After having read Dr. Losack's article "Enjoying the rewards of a locum tenens lifestyle" I logged on to this website and found a place unlike any other...the world with its profound beauty and pain, all captured through Dr. Losack's unblinking lenses. Just want to drop a note to show my appreciation for bringing these amazing images to us.

photos of mentally ill and cremation scene
The photographs of mentally ill people and the cremation scenes are very, very poignant . Especially the 'MENT/MED ILL INDIA02' photograph is truly a masterpiece. The expression in the man's eye is beautifully captured and it reminds me of the iconic photograph of a young Afghan girl on Nat Geo magazine cover or even Van Gogh's intense self-portraits. It is a photograph that touches your heart rather than your intellect and I think a masterpiece does just that. I also think the photograph of a man's blackened and cracked heel (BEG,HML,DEF,DRK01) is a fantastic study in economy of representation. Reminds me of VanGogh's ability to convey poverty/loneliness by just representing a pair of dusty shoes.Hope to see you hold an exhibition in India soon!

India Leprosy pics
Those pictures are... I dont even know how to speak about them. To see that, to imanage to live that life, I cant. I feel so deeply for them right now. I've never seen that before, and I can only think that in person it must be worse. I applude you for taking these pictures and sharing them with the world.

Amazing Work
Glenn:As many times as I have looked at your work, it never ceases to amaze me how you are able to capture the sensitivity, urgency and character of the situation and masterfully convey it in one view.
